Who's behind the camera.

Hello. I'm Sylvek, a Short Eared Owl living and working in the city of steel, Sheffield. I've been part of the Northern furmeet scene for about a year — from Warrington to Middlesbrough — my camera never far from my hands.

But I approach furtography differently as I know the magic that furry photography can give a suiter, because I've been in the suit myself. It's a different perspective, and a chance to relive that precious memory again.

I'm now at a point where I believe I can offer something unique, something special, to you as a furry through dedicated sessions — where we find amazing places and capture your suit's story.

Dedicated sessions are different to meet and convention candids. It's an opportunity to get out there and explore who your fursona really is in a relaxed setting, without worrying when the fursuit lounge closes or the walk starts.

Solo, or groups — together we can make sure you come away with a set of photographs that match the energy, the passion, the care that you put in.

The website is inspired by Sylvek's world — Blightgate. A corrupt city where the downtrodden have nobody to turn to other than a lone Short Eared Owl Private Investigator for any sense of justice. It's dark, gritty, noir.

You're already in it.

There's a longer plan to all this. When you make a booking, part of the money goes towards funding a dedicated studio space in Barnsley where furs can come in for on-site shoots and the wider furtography community can grow.
